Advancing Education Policy

In order to advance educational policy, leaders within education must communicate with students, staff, faculty and university friends. It is a key responsibility. Twitter and other forms of social media are quick, easy and effective way to do it. Whether a leader chooses a mix of humor and heart or celebrates and advocates in equal measures isn’t as important as being consistent and communicating regularly. Social media, including Twitter, FaceBook and InstaGram are platforms that allows leaders to “dialogue” with the campus community. It’s also a great way to promote not only the campus, but also the surrounding local community.
